Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On 27th November 2025 PC Abdullahi and PC Jephson attended a community meeting to bring together local partners, community members, and frontline services to discuss ongoing challenges related to violence against Women and Girls and to coordinate community-level action.
Discussing ways to improve bystander awareness and promote reporting as well as potential future campaigns to highlight more in schools and community workshops.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
